Information We Collect

When you subscribe to PurLayer Professional, we collect:

• Email address for subscription management and verification
• Subscription and billing information managed through Stripe
• Usage data (simulation count and PDF exports) to enforce monthly limits
• For Partner plans only: strategy-tracking data you choose to save (see “Strategy Tracking” below)

Free tier users can use the Healthcare sector without providing any personal information.

Payment Processing

All payments are exclusively handled by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Manage your subscription and billing
• Send verification codes when you restore subscription access
• Enforce the 10 simulations per month limit for Professional users
• Send transactional emails related to your subscription

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.

Data Security

Strategy simulations are generated locally in your browser. The simulator itself does not transmit your inputs or results to our servers. The one exception is the optional Strategy Tracking feature on Partner plans, described below, which saves only the limited data you explicitly choose to keep.

Strategy Tracking (Partner plans)

Partner-plan subscribers can optionally save simulations to track implementation progress across the organisations they advise. This feature is off unless you use it, and it is only available on Partner plans. When you use it, we store on our servers:

• The structured result of a saved simulation: short recommendation titles, the objective, mapped compliance frameworks, and the minimum licence each recommendation needs
• The simulation inputs you selected (such as sector, region and licence tier)
• An implementation status you set per recommendation (Not started, Planned, Implemented or Not applicable)
• The client labels, optional sector tags and optional notes you create to group simulations

We do not store the full strategy narrative or guidance — only short titles — so saved data cannot substitute for re-running the simulator. Client labels and notes are treated as opaque, private text: they are never used for lookup, enrichment, advertising or analytics, and are never shared. Because a client is only ever a label you choose, you do not need to enter a real organisation name — a pseudonym or internal reference works, and you should not paste client data or personally identifying information into these fields.

All strategy-tracking data is scoped strictly to your own account and is never visible to any other subscriber. You can delete a client grouping at any time, which removes the grouping and its notes; you can also stop using the feature entirely.
